Baby Nursery – One Room Challenge Pt. 5

Happy Thursday all! In the home stretch for the One Room Challenge, woo hoo! With my due date on Sunday our room is all ready but I will follow along with our weekly posting and still do the big reveal next week! This week I am just sharing smaller details within the room and you’ll be able to see the final next week. Be sure to check out the other Guest Participants over at Calling it Home ! To see the progress of our Nursery you can see the previous weeks here – Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 Week 4 . This has been such a fun project to work on, and even more fun to be able to share my design ideas and inspiration with you. I hope you have enjoyed the progress as much as I have!

We have a ceiling fan/light combo in the center of the room but we wanted to add another light that wasn’t quite as bright. I love this simple one from Target and it fits in the room perfectly behind our chair. threshold lamp

We also got this cute Campsite Nightlight that we will be able to use!

We got this great mirror from Target, it fits into the room so nicely and I love that it isn’t just flat with a frame!threshold mirror

This isn’t available online anymore – but here are some similar options that I think could work.

The project we are most proud of in the room is our DIY Ladder Bookshelf! I had a hard time finding a good pattern to follow so we ended up designing this ourselves with a little help from Ana White’s Tutorial. It was fun to design something on our own and see it come to life – hopefully I can get a DIY tutorial up soon on how to make it!
