As I work more towards growing my blog, my goal once a week is to post something having to do with Home Decor. I have an unused degree in Interior Design and would love to get back into the field. I figure to kick off this section of the blog I’m going to focus on a color a week and share my favorite finds, hope you enjoy and find a little inspiration. This week the color series will kick off with one of my favorite colors, Navy! There are so many great ways to add color to space through home decor, here are some ideas below.
One of the essentials in the home is the sofa, probably the most used piece of furniture in our house. How amazing is this Velvet Willoughby Sofa from Anthropology ?!?! Unfortunately for me, navy velvet and a yellow lab would not mix well together.
This Pilar Wing Chair from Pier1 would make a great pop of color to a living room or sitting room.
For the Dining Room or Eating area these Navy & Cream Lattice Chairs. The lattice makes them a little more modern and could help make a space feel more elegant, from Overstock.
This headboard is a steal from Walmart! It is a Better Homes & Garden piece, great option for anyone on a budget. I love the metal nail-head detail around the edge.
And we can’t forget about accessories – the best way to add a pop of color to any room.
Set of (2) lamps from Target
Throw pillows from One Kings Lane
Love this Navy Ottoman from Wayfair
And lastly, can’t forget about those essential side tables – a few of these in a living room or bedroom would make great additions. Found on Houzz
Hopefully these finds can help you and inspire you to incorporate some Navy into you home!
