Interior Industrial Style

Interior Industrial Style is one of the big trends today. I found myself watching an episode of Fixer Upper the other night and became a little obsessed with their use of interior glass sliding doors! I wouldn’t consider ‘Industrial’ part of my style but I am so impressed with what they did to transform this home. The use of the sliding glass doors within the space helps it feels so much bigger and helps create such an open welcoming space, not to mention, great site lines! You can see more of the transformation at !

How great are these black shiplap walls?!

This light is such a great statement piece.

Here is a little more inspiration for those interested in this style – I would love to use these for an office or den. Too bad there is no office at 52 – add that to the list for the next house!

What do you think of the industrial sliding door look? Would you use something like this in your home or design? Thanks for reading along, hopefully I can get my act together and post more regularly. Happy almost Friday!

  1. I love these and that fixer upper home…WOW. I would totally love to add these in my future home. Not entirely industrial style myself but these are just too pretty and seems like they come in different style/applications.

  2. I wasn’t a huge fan of that Fixer Upper flip – except for the large industrial sliding doors AND the black shiplap! Amazing! I would love to have large sliding doors like that.

  3. I love the black window panes and the texture of concrete (not sure if I’d want a whole wall though) — also liking the leather couches in that Fixer Upper home.
